Children's Corner (L. 113) is a six-movement suite for solo piano by Claude Debussy. It was published by Durand in 1908, and was given its world premiere in Paris by Harold Bauer on December 18 of that year. In 1911, an orchestration of the work by Debussy's friend Andre Caplet received its premiere and was subsequently published. A typical performance of the suite lasts roughly 15 minutes. The renditions in this album are on vintage synthesisers (as a homage to Wendy Carlos' Switched on Bach)...

A jam including the bands Teenage Grandad and The Sinatra Test, who joined together at dawn on Sunday 19th December to celebrate the life and music of Don Van Vliet aka Captain Beefheart. His musical work was conducted with a rotating ensemble of musicians he called The Magic Band, active between 1965 and 1982, with whom he...

BIG SNOW music video from the festive EP "Three Kings" http://thesinatratest.bandcamp.com http://sinatratest.ideasdigital.com videos from community and open source The Sinatra Test is an experiment in making old things cool and cool things old. We are influenced by avant-garde music of the 70s and 80s, punk bands, new wave and even electronic music. But also we love movies by David Lynch, Hitchcock and old horror classics and the kind of moods they create, and the music that goes with...

The Creative Genius deck is a pack of 52 cards, an art experiment, for use during creative writing (or visual art). Either flip through the cards one by one or choose a card at random. The card deck was originally conceived and designed by me as an iPhone/iPad app, to be built by my good friends over at inSignificant Productions, Mr Damon Jones and Mr John Molloy. I thought it would be very cool and possibly inform the production of the app if I got a deck actually made... and you know what...

The first teaser trailer for the first feature film by Phil South, a fictionalised documentary about life in a fast brain. ADHD, Mexican masked wrestlers and serial killers all collide in 12 stylised and highly original parts. The film was made with a cheap HDV camera, a DSLR with no movie capability and a brand new 2010 iPod Touch with HD movie recording. The music is a collage of styles, ancient synthesisers, folk music, ambient sounds and music by Anonymous Bosch, The Sinatra Test and other...

Anonymous Bosch's Brutal Deluxe, recorded over a long summer in 1996 on a collection of brown paper and string laptops. Mastered to cassette tape. Waiting and Dreaming of Leaving is something which finds its way into our performances even today. Love the catchy comicbook title. Anonymous Bosch are Brent Jackson and Phil South . Their most recent album released March 2010. Official Site

Anonymous Bosch's I.D.K. EP, recorded over a weekend in 1995 on a Nicam stereo VHS recorder and a MOD player on an Amiga computer. Occasional overdubs from a Korg M1. Mastered to cassette tape. Track one is short for Fat Funky F**ker, and is a tale of alien abduction and lovers not believing where you've been all these years. Track two is a story about fame destroying its owners and preserving it in theme park tombs. Make of it what you will. It's philosophy you can dance to. The title of the...

Anonymous Bosch's first album, recorded in 1987 on very basic equipment with only a Roland MT-32 and an Amiga computer for company, Bosch spun this their first yarn and kept it a secret for darn near 20 years, with only a select few fans keeping it to themselves. The title is inspired by the mashup comicbook cover of the original tape, which replaces the dialogue in a 50s comic strip with nonsense; the title jokingly refers to the notion of Charles Manson getting "messages" through...
